CARPLAN MUFLIT EXHAUST REPAIR BANDAGE PACKET

Carplan Exhaust Repair Bandage is a tough epoxy resin bandage which bonds to the exhaust system with the

application of heat, creating a long lasting, gas tight repair.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Ensure surface to be repaired is dry and free from rust, oil and dirt. Sand metal with a wire brush if

necessary.

• Warm the exhaust for a few minutes. On holes or splits, affix thr flame shield foil over the damaged area.

• Peel the plastic film from both sides of the bandage, wrap over the flame shield foil and exhaust tightly,

overlapping the edges by at least 13mm.

• Apply the fixing wire to secure the bandage. Run the engine for 20 minutes or drive carefully whilst the

bandage is curing.

NOTE: Carplan Exhaust Repair Bandage can be used with Exhaust Repair Paste to fill in small holes and leaks

before applying the bandage
